Ok, none of these are in order, i don't know why they didnt show up in order, but i'll just tell about each pic.

Parrots and Pigeons!
We made friends with Austrians who shared our room in the hostel. There were 6 of them, I don't remember any of their names, but they invited us out with them and we went. We also met their Swedish friends...between them speaking German, the Swedes speaking Swedish, Sophie speaking French and the natives speaking Spanish, I was sooo confused lol luckily they all spoke some english as well.
Sophie and I asked for traditional Spanish drinks...i dunno what it was called but it cost each of us €4.50
A street vendor was selling these roses, and they were real!

I thought I saw a squirrel, so I jumped from a bench to the top of a concrete wall...needless to say I missed...and it was a plastic bag lol

Our first look at the Mediterranean Sea!
Arc de Triomf
This was our first night...we had to sleep in the Marseille, France airport. I was scared to death and slept for maybe a half hour, it was horrible.
The Mediterranean Sea in France
The train cars were like in Harry Potter, our own personal cabin with closing doors! It took us 9 hours to get from Marseille, France to Barcelona, Spain
We had a short stop in Avignon, France, where we walked around and saw some sights and got some ice cream. The only bad part of the trip was Sophie only likes to eat snacks all day, so she was always pulling an orange or cookies out of her pocket, then didn't want to get lunch or dinner, and I was always really hungry.

Electronics
Argh. Thats all I have to say. My laptop wouldn't turn on, so I took it to a PC store and the guy said that the motherboard was probably "knackard out" (look it up lol). He said it would cost about £230 to send it off to get fixed. So I said no, I didnt really want them messing w/my american laptop, and just bought a cheap laptop to get me thru the rest of the semester. Bad thing is, I lost all my music and all my videos and pictures from Europe :( :( :( :(
I'm bored. Kathleen went home. Paula and her cousin, Rica, are still here. Emma just got back, which is nice. Paula and Rica mostly just talk to each other in Finnish, and when we watched movies, Paula puts subtitles on for Rica. It makes it even harder for me to have any sort of input in the conversation when they aren't speaking in English! But with Emma here today at least we both were speaking english. Emma also had Becca and Beck's room key. So I am sleeping in their room tonight, I gave Paula my bed. If Adeola (the Nigerian who lives in the room next to Emma) is having "fun" w/her bf tonight, Emma's gonna sleep in Beck's bed cuz she has to get up at 4am for work. But for now I get the room to myself, which is nice since there have been 3 ppl in our little room, and I feel like I was in Finland with all the Finnish being spoken lol. Scratch that, I'm sharing the room w/Emma. Oh well it was nice for a little while!
I leave tomorrow for Spain. Should be interesting to say the least. Sophie and I are not very prepared. I'm a little nervous, but I like spontenaeity!
Adios!

A Week Alone?
I was really worried I was going to be bored out of my mind this week, cuz I thought no one would be here. Luckily Paula is here and her bf is in Brazil for holiday so she's been staying around. We have watched 2 movies, went to the Botanical gardens, walked around, went thru pics and shared stories, we played truth/would u rather/20 questions, made signs to hang on ppl's doors, listen to music, vacuumed and went to the cinema today. We cooked a spaghetti dinner with home made sauce and banana bread yesterday. We stole daffodils from the botanical gardens and put them in our room and our room smells delightful! My friend Kathleen has also been here and we've been watching movies and going for walks and having LOTS of tea (she has a teapot! and I have teabags I stole from all the hotels on my trip!). Kathleen is very dramatic tho, she came in the other day and started crying cuz of some guy, and I had no idea what to do or say, I didn't really know her that well. But now she's been up everyday and she's really nice and invited me to come to her house in northern scotland and she said she'll come visit me in America! This has been a great week!
