When talking about hair, Emma asked me if I would like a fringe. I said what is that. She showed me, and I said, oh we call that bangs. She laughed and said you bloody american's have such strange words for things.
When walking on the sidewalk, I can't figure out which side to be on. They drive on the left so that would make sense, but no matter which side I walk on I always seem to be on the wrong side.
Europeans use big vocabulary, and it makes them sound intelligent. But I think they are intelligent because of all the reading they do at Uni.
Everyone is always smiling and willing to chat!

It's great that people are so friendly. Like I said, don't say 'fanny' or 'boinked', they're rather risque terms in the UK.
